Pre-Christmas good times.... Sandra and Danny and I went out in public for some of Seattle's Best in ? where were we? Pt. Orchard?
And while we were out, Doug got a perfect Olalla tree! How fun to get in on two decoratings ... one at home and one there. Life was just a blur of holiday fun!

Updates continued....
I love freezing fog.... it makes even a Yakima rest area a special land!
I don't know if you can get the full crammed-to-the-limit effect of this Tacoma front yard.... also a special land.

gees! i still don't have my camera back.... so some more updates that now feel to me like ancient history! my last day of school was a swell field trip to Whitman Mission. We got the full pioneer winter isolated experience... and saw lots of wildlife and no tourists! very fun!
(but since then we've got gene (!!!!) and mar (!!!!) and a seattle grandma/cowan visit which included lewises, margie, sos, chris, ralph, matt/katt. got another trip coming up.)

We had an open house at our school with some pre-holiday fun..... this was my part of it, but we also had singing and refreshments and games and stories and crafts and gifts! We're such a joyous bunch!

Boy, I seem to be on vacation. Have I lost the will to blog? Hmm... let's get a bit updated. A while ago I went to lunch at Andersen's. As you can see, we had a swingin' good time! What you can't see was how delicious and welcoming this whole family is. I'm glad for them! Steph even came over a few days later and helped me get caught up with some of my Christmas fun! I went to visit brand new Sophie yesterday... what a little angel! Her mom was looking beautiful, too, but I forgot to take a picture of her.
It is snowing again today... just started. This is our third snowfall; the house and grounds are looking quite pretty with the white covering. And these flakes this morning are the real relaxed "no hurry" kind... very restful. And at night and in the dark part of the morning our house is beautifully aglow! Dave Lightstringer has been at work on the roof and windows and I'm almost done with my bushes and trees! Pictures soon!
