I got everything planted that I want to plant. Now I just have to do the digging up and hacking down and the estate grounds will be well-kept. (and i got unlazy and went to get my camera for a photo post, but something is not cooperating.... so.... )

Nice day today, muggy but pretty. The blossoms off all these flowering trees are ankle deep in places. Very fun. If I had next weeks classes all worked out I'd really be sitting pretty! Do you have any ideas for some fun and colossally impressive art projects for the littlest kids? forward soon, please!!

Ah, I've got some pictures somewhere ... too lazy to go get my camera and the cable. Had a nice bunko party here at my house yesterday. I did not have any WASL-ing today, but I did have my art class and my writing class. I sure do like the kids in those classes... they do great work and lots of it. I had a bad headache today... it was hard to teach even such a great bunch of kids; hard to think. I always feel bad when that happens because I only see the kids once a week and I want everything to be smooth and productive and efficient. I think I'll go take some more ibuprofen. tata

Some of us went on a field trip last Thursday. Toppenish is quite the tourist town! Who'd've guessed? Here we are at the soda factory - yum! and we horse-and-buggied around to look at the terrific murals. And we also took in some teepees and the Yakama Cultural Center. A very full day! And a gorgeous one, as you can see.
I thought my breakfast came out a really pretty color this morning. I can see that there is a real art to food presentation and photography that I don't quite possess. Anyway, it was as yummy as it was beautiful. =0)

Well, Margie did look cute and halfposed for exactly one picture. The city is full of interesting images and textures. Now I'm home and feeling like .... well, there is this feeling that spring is on hold, or that life is too crowded and too devoid at the same time.... ? I shouldn't have skipped my walk tonight. I didn't want to get out in the wind... but after a whole day of sitting at work and talking and listening and not making any .... arghh. i'm still not making connections, feeling "out of sorts". guess i'll quit trying to ... yeah.

Seattle trip is very nice so far.... snowy mt. hike; look at that blue sky! and some nice waterfall, flowers, etc. I failed to take pictures of actual people! And it really is the folks that I come to see and that make my visit so fun. Mom, Sandra - and Jim!, Betty F., and tonight I'll see Margie. Maybe she'll seem photogenic to me and I'll remember to snap her picture. If not, you'll have to settle for the pictures of bricks or tree bark or....?
