I apologize to those of you who don't find E.Washington to be endlessly beautiful, like I do. I have a hard time driving home on such a beautiful day as I had for my travels a couple days ago. Finally I just parked the car and took a long walk in the canyon (between Eburg and Yakima). sigh.

The cast of characters in mom's life story is many and varied. Here is a sampling from just one weekend... and I failed to capture the regulars and a few of the visitors.... matt keeping warm and cool in the tub! stevo and chris and their usual accompanying silliness, ric and pat dawson who share shadow lake and minnesota roots with mom. If I can add a photo after the fact, I know Sandra took some cute ones when Cory M. and his family came to call.

Sometimes it is sunny enough to go outside! As usual, I'm fairly spazzy at taking my own picture, but .... life is good!

I had a good day yesterday...pretty, sunny day. Went downtown and met Matt for lunch on the water and a quick trip through a bit of the SAM. I got to see some panels of Ghiberti's Gates of Paradise.... amazing. And I got home in time to get Mom some ice cream and was lucky to catch that "yummy" expression. This in lieu of a picture of Matt... fun time.

Gosh! finally something exciting to blog about in Sammamish! Oh, that's bad... poor Loren. Good thing for airbags, eh? That tire under Loren's car is off the other vehicle. Loren was just a few blocks from home. Ugh! And the poor 16-year old who pulled out smack in front of him... his driving days are going to be complicated for a long while to come.

I'm here in Sammamish with Mom. I think I'll have to take some pictures.....don't have anything to post. I've been painting a watercolor a day. It's good for me, especially just the part of saying...ok, that one's finished. I tend to stop when I find I've done something that I feel needs fixing (and I don't know how to fix things and maybe that's the nature of water colors that they're not very fixable) and so I have in the past left many unfinished. Now, at least I finish one every day. I might not love them.... but they are what they are. And experimenting is good. Next experiment might be to make a photo collage of my production so far. Later.
